I am Honored and humbled to serve as your Playa De Oro HOA President. God willing, I will lead with a servant’s heart, guided by the values that make our community strong. 

Having lived here since 2008, I’ve seen firsthand what makes Playa De Oro special —we share more than a place; we share a connection. 

We are a community. Let’s continue to support one another, lend a helping hand to our neighbors, and lift each other up every day.

I purchased my lot at Playa de Oro in 2005 when there were very few homes in the community. Around 2016 I returned to attend a poolside BOD meeting. I witnessed a thriving community with nearly 100 homes and well-maintained infrastructure. 

At that point, I made a vow to myself that one day I would run for a BOD position so that I could do my part at contributing to the community. I felt it was my duty to do a share of the work. So far, I have been on the PDO BOD for close to one year, and it has been an honor to serve all association members,

I have been a property owner in Playa De Oro for over 20 years and have had a house here for 14. 

San Felipe and PDO are home for me.

In the many different years I have spent on the board, my focus has always been "what is best for our community and how do we maintain being the best campo in San Felipe".

Thanks for the opportunity to assist with the process again. I look forward to the challenge.

Discovering San Felipe

I first discovered San Felipe in 1994. For decades, I searched for the perfect community where I could spend six months each year. After an extensive search, I found that ideal place in Playa de Oro. In 2016, I purchased a home in PDO, and since then, I have enjoyed living here for six months annually, experiencing all that San Felipe has to offer.

Service on the PDO Board

Serving on the PDO Homeowners Association Board of Directors in the past has been

both an honor and a privilege.  I have held several roles, including Alternate, Secretary, and Treasurer. These positions allowed me to actively participate in managing the community and supporting its wellbeing. My service has given me valuable insights and a deeper connection to our neighborhood.

Current Role and Goals

Currently, I serve as Parliamentarian. My primary objective in this role is to help

preserve the unique appeal of PDO and ensure it remains the most desirable

community in San Felipe. I am dedicated to contributing to the continued success and

harmony of our neighborhood.

I have lived full-time in Playa de Oro since fall of 2023. I moved down here to retire with my best friend and our three dogs. We rented a house here and fell in love with the community. 

After a few months we found our "forever home" and purchased one of the original houses in the campo. Since then, we've enjoyed all that the community and greater San Felipe have to offer.

We've made wonderful friends and enjoy all the amenities of this beautiful campo. 

I am happy to serve on the Playa de Oro HOA Board. My goal is to communicate the work and intentions of the BOD clearly to the members of our community.

I first came to San Felipe in 2005 with the El Dorado bus. We bought a lot on the mountain side in El Dorado. Ater going home  we thought, maybe we wanted to be closer to the water. 

We came bck down and found Playa de Oro, which we loved ,and bought a lot. 

In 2005 we began building our house and moved into it in 2005. I began to get active in the community shortly after and have held numerous positions on the board as well as served many committees. 

I have developed many friendships in PDO as well as in San Felipe and have been active in many of the  needs of our city . I spend approximately 5-6 months here throughout the year and look forward to once again being  on the HOA  board and continue to help make this the best campo in San Felipe.   

I have lived in the community for 9 years and owned a lot for 11 years. 

I believe in being good neighbors. I believe in transparency and face to face meetings whenever possible. 

I think we have a beautiful community here at the PDO and I would like to see it flourish continue to be a warm inviting community. I am also currently a member of the Pool committee.
